Regional Campaign Directors

At Team KE, we understand delegates are voting members of the California Democratic Party. With this in mind, we built our campaign around a members services model.

From scheduling one-on-one calls with Kimberly to answering questions about our Issues sections, our Regional Campaign Directors (RCDs) are one-stop-shops for delegates in their respective region (map provided below).

 

North - Meri Mohr

Meri Mohr is a member of Indivisible Women Nevada County, a member of the Nevada County Democratic Central Committee and Treasurer of the Nevada County Democratic Women’s Club. You may have seen her on Facebook on behalf of California District 1 Media, a collaborative project to inform North State voters about upcoming elections, voting, and decisions made by elected officials. She has also written about the resistance in rural California to an urban audience for the popular events and lifestyle blog, Broke Ass Stuart. She most recently worked on Hilary Hodge’s campaign for District 3 Nevada County Supervisor, a grassroots effort that mobilized and energized a new wave of progressive activists and volunteers. Meri lives in Grass Valley, CA with her wife Mollie and cat Russell. When not campaigning, she is found in her permaculture vegetable garden, digging in the dirt.

Bay - Brandon Harami

Brandon Harami is a native Californian who grew up just south of the Bay Area in Hollister, CA. Raised by his gay dads and single mother, Brandon first began getting active in politics at a young age, walking in his first Pride parade while still in elementary school. Brandon learned leadership and community organizing as an officer in both his local 4-H club and his high school’s Gay Straight Alliance. As a San Francisco activist he was a consistent volunteer for Bernie Sanders in 2016, and later became an elected delegate to the California Democratic Party and officer with the San Francisco Berniecrats, a local Our Revolution group. His most recent political work was in Supervisor Jane Kim’s race for San Francisco Mayor, Tony Kelly’s race for District 10 Supervisor, and now Kimberly Ellis’s run for California Democratic Party Chair. Brandon is a well-respected and committed community activists in San Francisco and proud dog-dad to the gorgeous Sahari.

Central - Joz

Jocelyn “Joz” Sida has been passionate about political reform, immigration reform, environmental issues and youth civic engagement, starting with her roles as the only Latina to be a part of the Rock the Vote’s 2008 Rock the Trail. In 2012, Joz was elected President of the San Bernardino Young Democrats, as well as an Obama/Biden DNC delegate for CA CD35. Joz has served as an ADEM delegate and E-board representative for AD 47. At 23, Joz ran for school board in Fontana, California. From city council campaigns to state and federal races in places like New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles to Las Vegas, Joz has worked in the Latino community to engage and organize the community in areas of technology, politics, health care, gender equality, reproductive rights issues, and immigration. Joz has performed standup comedy all over the country because she is sure that if you can still laugh during the hardest times of your life, you can overcome anything this world throws at you. She also loves hot wings and anything relating to 80s music.

South - Katie Meyer

Katie Meyer is an organizer and progressive activist based out of San Diego County. Katie currently serves as the Chair of the CYD Progressive Caucus and the Internal Vice President of the San Diego Progressive Democratic Club. She has been involved in Democratic Party politics and the California Young Democrats since she was President of the Mills College Fem Dems in College Club. While attending Mills, Katie ran a winning mayoral campaign in the city of Lemon Grove, electing the first Black female mayor in the county of San Diego. Katie most recently worked on Ammar Campa Najjar’s campaign to flip one of the most conservative districts in the state. As his field director, Katie organized thousands of volunteers, continuing her passion of getting more people engaged and involved in politics. Katie is committed to seeing the Party lead boldly on Progressives values.
